The fixed asset module in Sage X3 allows users to add, track, depreciate and dispose of long-lived assets in a separate area of the software. The overall process will include the acquisition, receiving, depreciation and close of the fixed asset module.
The first part of this series includes some of the points on the purchase, receiving, recording of the invoice payable and a look at the addition to the fixed asset module.
The second demonstration will include grouped assets, the split function, disposals, the depreciation cycle and the close of the fixed asset module.
