Click on Action button then click on “New Menu Item”.
Enter the code. For example, I am using P_NSIGNED.
Enter the Title. The title given will be displayed under the module. In this example, I have use PR Not signed.
Enter the description. The description will be showed on the dashboard. For example, I have taken as PR Not signed.
In Link type field, we will select the query.
In Application field, we will select the required application. For example, I have selected X3 ERP.
In Endpoint field, we will select the working folder.
In Query Name field, we will write the query code which we created in the Query tool.
In module field, we will select the required module. Here I have used Purchase module.
In categories field, we will select the required category. Here I have used Purchase requests.
After entering all the details, click on the Action button and then click on Save.
To create a new page for dashboard, Go to landing page Step 3: Click on the “+ New…” button on the landing page in Sage X3. Step 4: After clicking on New button, the following screen pops up and we will fill the details as per our requirement. I am going to use the word “Dashboards” and then I will click OK. Step 5: Now I will add the query tool to the dashboard by clicking on the “Queries” icon to use the query I created earlier. Step 6: After clicking on “Queries” the following screen will be open and the Query tool is added under Purchase module and follow the below path to get the gadget. Step 7: Click “Ok “and the below dashboard will be displayed on the Landing pages in Sage X3. By using the above steps, we can add the query tool to the dashboard on the landing pages to view easily whenever we login into Sage X3.
